Efficient management of generated electricity.
Battery storage is a great way to increase the efficiency of new and existing solar power plants. This is evidenced by the case of an older solar power plant near Mělník in Central Bohemia, for which Raylyst, a leading Czech distributor of solar technologies in Europe, recommended a medium-sized Huawei battery storage system. This storage with a capacity of 200 kWh enables efficient management of the generated electricity and optimises its use according to current needs.
The Huawei Luna2000-200kWh battery storage offers an innovative and reliable solution to reduce electricity costs, reduce carbon footprint and overcome unexpected power outages. With an intelligent grid forming system, it provides higher voltage and frequency stability, allowing it to handle higher loads and operate reliably in various microgrid scenarios.
Huawei Luna2000-200kWh battery storage boasts advanced safety and optimization features. The real-time detection system of each individual battery cell enables early warning and quick shutdown in the event of a short circuit, preventing overheating and fire risk. An active fire protection system ensures automatic release of flammable gases when sensors detect heat, smoke and carbon monoxide, increasing operational safety.
The aim of this project is to increase the energy self-sufficiency of the building and to enable efficient storage of surplus energy produced from the PV plant, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the system and reducing operating costs. This project is another step by Raylyst to promote renewable energy and modern energy management.
