Oberndorf bei Schwanenstadt, Austria
Launch date: August 2025
One of the most technologically advanced photovoltaic power plants in the region has been built in Oberndorf bei Schwanenstadt in northern Austria. The project, implemented by investor Pod Bau GmbH, combines a large-scale photovoltaic system with battery storage and charging infrastructure for electromobility.
In this prestigious project Raylyst Solar was responsible for the supply of AIKO high performance photovoltaic panels, a technology that is currently one of the most efficient on the world market.
The investor’s goal was to build an energy self-sufficient charging facility capable of covering the high demand of electric vehicle traffic at any time of the day – ideally without depending on an external energy source. The key requirements were maximum efficiency, high reliability and long-term yield in a limited area.
The installation was carried out under the direction of R&R Amering GmbH, which implemented the project with respect to the exact technological requirements and timeline.
At the heart of the entire photovoltaic part of the system are the high-end AIKO ABC (All Back Contact) panels supplied by Raylyst Solar. This technology represents the pinnacle of current developments in photovoltaic panels in terms of efficiency.
Thanks to the unique design with full-back contacts and the absence of front busbars, the panels achieve exceptional performance parameters. They also cope well with diffuse light, a major advantage in Austria’s variable lighting conditions. The high temperature resistance ensures stable performance even during the summer months. In addition to the technical parameters, they also impress with their elegant design. Thanks to the frameless, invisible design, the installation looks clean and uniform, which is particularly appreciated by investors who also place emphasis on the visual aspect of the project.
Thanks to these parameters, the system enables efficient use of every square metre of space, which is crucial for the economics of the entire operation in utility-scale projects.
AIKO technology brings to this project not only superior performance, but also stability, long life and minimal maintenance. Combined with advanced 6.8 MWh battery storage and intelligent demand management, the entire system is optimized for a high proportion of direct self-consumption and relief to the utility grid during peak times.
In addition, the chosen configuration allows for efficient night operation of the charging stations and flexible commercial output of surpluses to the grid, thus combining ecology with economic benefits for the investor.
The project started in spring 2025 and was commissioned in August of the same year. Thanks to meticulous project preparation, professional installation by R&R Amering GmbH and the timely delivery of the technology from Raylyst Solar, the implementation was carried out without delay.
The whole project shows that a carefully selected technology and the right partner for the supply of components have a major impact on the quality and success of the final solution.
Thanks to AIKO panels, the new site can supply large volumes of clean energy for its own use and the surrounding infrastructure in a stable manner. The project also serves as a demonstration model for future combinations of PV systems, battery storage and high-performance e-mobility infrastructure.
The reference project in Oberndorf confirms that AIKO panels are the ideal choice for demanding applications with an emphasis on performance, long-term yield and modern design. Combined with professional installation and a smart energy concept, the result is a system that sets a new standard for similar projects in Austria and throughout Europe.

Levín Farm, Hvězdonice, Czech Republic
Commissioning date: September 2025
A new ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant has been built on the outskirts of Hvězdonice, situated within the scenic Central Bohemian landscape at Levín Farm. The project, developed by Archdevelo s.r.o., represents another step toward efficient renewable-energy generation. At the current stage, all produced energy is fed directly into the distribution grid.
The investor’s objective was to build a robust, long-term reliable system that leverages modern technologies to ensure efficient operation and simplified maintenance in the years ahead.
The installation is unique in its location—situated within the grounds of Levín Farm, near a trotting race track. The site was selected for its favourable solar conditions, optimal terrain orientation and the possibility of direct grid connection.
During the design phase, it was essential to combine high technical requirements with careful integration into the surrounding landscape. The goal was to create a modern power-generation facility that is reliable, high-performing and respectful of the natural environment.
The project employs a full Huawei technology stack, combining power-conversion, control and transformation components into a unified and compact system.
Raylyst Solar supplied a 6 MW Huawei Smart Transformer Station JUPITER-6000K-H1, ensuring reliable power transformation from the string inverters to a voltage suitable for grid connection.
On the power-conversion side, the plant features 19 Huawei SUN2000-330KTL-H1 inverters, which—thanks to their high efficiency and advanced control algorithms—ensure optimal utilisation of the energy produced.
Plant control and monitoring are handled by the Huawei Smart Array Controller SmartACU2000D, integrating all components into a single ecosystem and enabling remote supervision and real-time diagnostics. This setup reduces operational expenses while simplifying the management of the entire facility.
The unified Huawei FusionSolar ecosystem ensures high energy-conversion efficiency, operational reliability and simplified service interventions.
The combination of SUN2000-330KTL inverters, the SmartACU controller and the innovative STS results in efficient power transmission and stable operation even in demanding climatic conditions.
Thanks to full compatibility across all components from one manufacturer, the commissioning time was significantly shortened and the risk of technical mismatches between devices minimized.
The project was carried out throughout 2025 and completed in September of the same year. Building on previous experience with Huawei technology in utility-scale installations, this project represents another milestone in expanding the FusionSolar platform in the European market.
Due to thorough preparation and precise coordination of all deliveries, installation proceeded smoothly and within the planned schedule.
The photovoltaic plant at Levín Farm now contributes to the production of clean electricity fed into the distribution grid, strengthening the stability of the regional energy infrastructure.
The project demonstrates the effective use of modern Huawei technologies in combination with a carefully designed system that brings together performance, reliability and long-term sustainability in harmony with the surrounding environment.
The installation at Levín Farm confirms that Huawei’s advanced technologies are ideally suited for large-scale ground-mounted PV projects requiring high performance, stability and long service life.
This project further highlights the growing importance of renewable energy in the Czech Republic and expands the portfolio of major reference installations in which Raylyst Solar participates as a supplier and technical partner for the deployment of advanced technological solutions.

Hodonín industrial area Tabačka
Implementation date: 6 March 2024
The Hodonín industrial complex Tabáčka, a former tobacco factory with a history of over 150 years, is located in a strategic position between Brno and Vienna.
The complex provides facilities for 45 companies that use production areas, offices and warehouses. Currently, the complex boasts another significant environmental step – the installation of a unique battery storage facility.
The site is struggling with increasing energy consumption, mainly due to the tenants’ manufacturing operations and logistics operations dependent on electric vehicles.
Even so, thanks to the combination of a 1200 kWp solar power plant, cogeneration and newly installed battery storage, it consumes 99% only green energy.
In cooperation with the installation company, we have been looking for the optimal solution to the energy needs of the site now and in the years to come. In the end, the choice fell on a unique container battery with a capacity of 4 MWh and an output of 2 MV. The installation is also interesting because it includes several basic components that are modular and easily replaceable. Each container contains 6 separate cabinets with 21 batteries in each, allowing for easy maintenance and eventual replacement of damaged parts.
There are several key benefits to the battery storage chosen:
The installation and commissioning of the storage was carried out by PV Service plus. The site’s energy system is connected to the local distribution system, but primarily focuses on self-supply. The project also includes a master control system specifically developed for the needs of the site. The test run involved simulating various crisis situations such as charging multiple electric vehicles and simultaneous operation of the production facilities.
Battery storage significantly improves the energy efficiency of the site. However, working with energy is increasingly important for industrial sites not only because of the cost of energy – the reason for batteries is also the risk of grid overload and meeting ESG conditions. The installation in Tabačka serves as an inspiration for other similar projects due to its power-to-size ratio.
The demand for efficient battery storage in the Czech Republic is growing and the Hodonín Tabačka site can be an inspiration for other companies that are still looking for their way to sustainable operation of industrial sites. The project demonstrates the successful use of modern technologies and provides inspiration for other companies and investors looking for green solutions.
